Finally Spurs managed to secure a manager after a farcical and incompetent search. I think it’s fair to claim that the new appointment wasn’t their 1st or 2nd choice. Nor indeed their 7th or 8th. This was bottom of the barrel stuff and I have question marks about how the new season will unfold but I will hold my judgement until the results start coming in.
